CC Rhythm is a performing musical program offered through CC Links. The purpose of CC Rhythm is to help dissolve social boundaries and educate the community on the abilities of individuals rather than focusing on their differences. It allows for a natural, inclusive environment to work on social skills as well as build a sense of unity and self-worth. The program fosters and promotes independence, productivity and individual development in a fun, creative environment. CC Rhythm is open to individuals with and without developmental disabilities.

Through the fields of Neuroscience and Music Therapy, the data shows us why music is so powerful. Music…

    -Motivates

    -It is a multi-sensory experience

-It is processed in both hemispheres of the brain

    -It is Non-Verbal

-It helps build bonds and relationships

    -It is Powerful

CC Rhythm was started in the fall of 2017 with the first public performance in the spring of 2018. Since the beginning, CC Rhythm has performed at MACDDS Annual Conference, Power-Up Conference, and the Missouri Family Partnership Conference. Branson On Stage Live at the Grand Shanghai Theater, Cox North Fitness/Girls Just Want to Run 5 & 10K, several transition summits, churches, local and CC Links sponsored events and more.
